I think it might have been her daughter who was very upfront and wrote about her mother Bettye's struggles with mental health issues. But perhaps Bettye's way of looking at the world gave her some unique insights into the mind of Zodiac. I thought it was a brilliant intuitive feeling that she had that Zodiac was such an egoist and narcissist that he would start the code message with "I", and that as killing was most important to him he might start the message saying something like "I like killing". And of course her and Don's intuition proved exactly correct.
Could you post one or two of the poems here, to give people an idea of what is contained in the book?
I hope Bettye and Don Harden are always remembered, and that there large contribution to the Zodiac case is remembered as well.
I agree, I find the Hardens most interesting. And have learned more from Leslie. Hopefully some information that will be public in the future. The book gives some insight on Bettye herself, her feelings & emotions. Poems can be a very powerful to release emotions.
I received two copies, I will value the signed copy & note from Leslie.
The Book has a side of Bettye’s face on the cover & the other side on the back- perhaps showing two personalities.
I was looking at her verbiage & use of words.
