It happens to (sort of) work under a particular numerological system (Chaldean/Babylonian), but if it had worked under any other system, it would have also been considered significant by those who are persuaded by numerological links.
For example, if Gematria had produced a suspect's name, someone might point out the rarity of that. But they do not point out that many other methods could have been applied. Nor do they actually verify whether other Zodiac-related words could be generated.
It is like a golf ball hitting a blade of grass. Yes, it was very unlikely for that specific blade to be hit with the ball. But one of the blades was certainly going to be hit.
