Has Zodiac ever Posted?

One thought that periodically comes into my mind as I read posts on the Zodiac is "I wonder if Z has ever posted"
So does anyone out there know of any suspected posts that could have come from Z? On this or any other forum? I think if he were alive and had access to a computer, he wouldn't be able to resist coming on and taunting or at the very least just reading all the people trying to figure out who he is.

Along those same lines has there ever been any suspected email communication?

I think that question has been asked in just about every Z forum I've ever visited, goldengopher. There always seem to be a few people whose cryptic posts set off alarm bells but there's usually not much behind that. One of us COULD be Zodiac, we're just not sure which one. I was thinking morf because he knows too much and it would make a great story if Zodiac owned his own Zodiac website. Unfortunately, morf is younger than me and I was in pre-school when this whole sordid affair began. At least that's my alibi and I'm sticking to it...

I recall during the active BTK investigation, most everyone thought BTK was lurking on-line and had ideas of who it might be. Police actively perused message boards such as this and actually identified six suspicious individuals who presumably then received a personal visit. As it turned out, BTK was content to monitor public opinion through the newspapers and TV only.

It is certainly not out of the question that Z would want to view and even participate in the discussion about him but a lot of people his age would want no parts of talking to people on the computer. I would imagine there have probably been hundreds of emails sent purporting to be from Zodiac and would either not be taken seriously or perhaps investigated and found to be hoaxes. I'm not aware of any emails that have ever been seriously investigated but who knows? I personally don't envision Zodiac, if alive, participating in on-line Zodiac discussion but I could certainly be wrong. I think everyone here should post an alibi to put this issue to rest.

Well I know that a person who claimed to be Lawrence Kane/Cane wrote two messages in response to messages that were by someone that said they were going to go out to Zephyr Cove the in a weeks time to visit see if they can find Larry Kane. A message came back asking "I'm him, what do you want?" Then after he was asked is it true that he has a very high IQ score, he simply replied "Don't come out here."
This was sent from an AOL account and the name of the AOL account that he was posting under was "DOZIAC"

Whether that was actually Kane or not, your guess is as good as mine because I have no idea either way.

I was born on the 7th anniversary of Cheri Jo's murder. 30th Oct 1973. So I wondered briefly if it was my dad.

As for myself, birthdate and age not withstanding, I've never been to the USA. Not even sure I could find it on a map. I imagine it's quite a small country filled mostly with dyslexic 'immigants' [sic] (Mo from the Simpsons). Color? pajamas? wtf? lol

I have been told by the San Francisco FBI Office that a Visa will not be granted to enter the Country. I received It in writing:

Dear Alex.

I regret to inform you the United States Immigration have decided you are not welcome In the United States of America, Specifically the State of California and the City of San Francisco. Our decision has been made due to the Dpt. being in no doubt, that the wheels of the Plane would have barely touched the runway and you would have the unsolved 'Zodiac Killer' case solved in 7 minutes. So it is with great regret that I must say your Visa has been denied because we know how fantastic you are

It is the last message in that group.
I found this post back in Sep, 2007 and back then posted it on Opordanalytical.com.

I checked out the Zodiac posters profile, and he only posted once.
His email was: never@catchme.com

One interesting thing is that he sign of with "Ø".
"Ø" is a is a vowel and a letter used in the Danish, Faroese, Norwegian languages, and only in this languages.
Therefore, this letter would only be found in Danish, Faroese, Norwegian keyboards.
Thinking of that Zodiac is belived to possibly have some kind of norwegian connection or interest
due to the norse reference in the Feb 14, 1974 SLA letter, this signing of with a "Ø" is kind of interesting.
Also the fact that this post was posted on the internet back in 1997, which is before the Zodiac killer comunity
was really in works, fex. Zodiackiller.com was'nt launched until March 20, 1998, which is 1 year and 2 months
AFTER this post was posted hmmm......

This is probably just som nut, on the other side, who knows?
