Okay, now we are to the 100% speculation part of the book, with no proof or facts. Regarding the BRS attack,I quote:

"Van, holding a flashlight, got out and approached Ferrin's car. He shined the light into Michael's eyes, Van raised his 9mm semi auto and started firing, after Mageau was hurt, VAN turned his attentions towards Darlene"

He simply inserted Van's name instead of zodiac, with no proof or evidence, nor a back story of how Van came to know the Victims, etc.

This is totally baseless, and I hope the rest gets better and proves facts and not just wild accusations

The Author simply chose to make his Father into the zodiac, and substituted Van's Zodiac's name with VAN. Instead of Zodiac wrote this, or Zodiac did that, he changes it to Van did this, or Van shot them, or Van wrote a letter to the editor.

The author simply uses a susbtitution method and inserts his Father's name into any spot the word ZODIAC would be.

I will not even finish this book now. Somebody tells me how it ends. There's $30 bucks down the drain

I read in one of todays articles that he is awaiting the result of a DNA test:

"He claims that he is still awaiting the results of DNA tests to see whether his matches fragments taken from the crime scene of the Zodiac’s killings."

Same newsreport says there is some kind of fingerprint match:

"Stewart then went onto match fingerprints taken from his father’s arrest and those from the crime scene. Both have a diagonal scar on them, he claims."

Could someone refresh my memory, who is Rotea Gilford?

"In a remarkable coincidence his mother Judy married Rotea Gilford one of the lead investigators in the case.
He is now dead but Stewart is convinced that this would upset the department and that it may have caused them to try to 'shut down' the investigation into the case.
'The fact remains: Judy married Van, the Zodiac. Judy married Rotea, the homicide detective,' he concludes."

Here's my problem, I think his suspect is interesting. I think it's also interesting that the Girl who he kidnapped/married, had Grandparents living in Vallejo in 1969. I think the fact his Father/Suspect, assuming he really enjoyed the Mikado is interesting. Ther'e alot of interesting stuff.

What I can't even accept, or force myself to read(listen to since its an audio book),is the part in which the author, out of left field, suddenly just starts saying that "Van shot Darlene","Van mailed a letter to the editor". No warning, no bother to make a connection or show how he came to be zodiac, or if he knew the victims. None of that. This is no short book, and I can't bring myself to go thru 5 more hours of bullshit in which this guy decides, with no proof, to declare his Father was zodiac.

If his Suspect turns out to be zodiac, it apparently will be thur dumb luck, because in my opinion, the Author has shown no verifiable evidence or connections.

Luckily, it looks like several people her will have the book soon, so reports should be plenty. I have a feeling, they will mostly be negative.
