It was in : Hinds County, Mississippi the town was Jackson, and interstate 55

Maybe something will pop up in the book about him being there?

When Avery wrote the story, Best was furious because he felt Avery had portrayed him as some dirty low down child molestor.

Avery later dubbed their affair, "the Ice Cream Romance"

In the early 60's his Brother Rufus lived in Meridian, Miss. thats the only Miss. reference so far
