I couldn't wait for the print edition, so I downloaded the audio version and listened to it in the car. The audio version was actually narrated by the author which I thought was cool. I think that Earl Van Best Jr. is the most interesting and likely suspects yet in my opinion for several reasons:

E.V.B . . .
- Had an absent/abusive father and a rejecting mother who actually wished he was a girl
- Spent time in Japan and England
- Learned code from his father Father
- Had Interest in weaponry
- Had an obsession with women much younger than him
- Knew Anton LaVey personally (SF Church of Satan)
- Travelled freqently to Mexico
- Worked as a cab driver in SF
- Knew and appreciated opera/The Mikado
- Striking resemblence to the Zodiac WANTED poster

Hey Genesis, don't mean to go on the attack but pretty much every poster on this thread disagrees with you, and the reasons you give, to me, are tenuous at best. Do you realize how many suspects who have come and gone who strikingly resemble the wanted poster? ( and really, does he?) At this stage in the game, without smoking gun evidence, you need something that at least connects to Z in regards to handwriting, strong linguistic characteristics, or something that ties them to the victims, something bigger than the fact that he travelled to Japan, Mexico and London. Does this guy even have a military background? Not saying Z has to have one, but it would fit.

So far the most compelling thing I've read is the title to this thread in the sub forum.

NEW! "The Zodiac Killer Is My Father" by seagull.

Could've saved us a lot of time Deb if you'd mentioned this a little earlier lol. :D
