I tried to find if it was listed online and couldn't find anything. The number is 30 58 47 678. Does anyone recall what the different sets of numbers relate to? The second set, 58, is the same as the Draft Board number that the person wrote to. I imagine there is some method as to how the numbers were distributed.

Who ever this person is he was not well, that is for sure. The wording is nothing like the Zodiac's, there are a few letters that are like his, but many more that are not. Acid might make him write another way , I have no idea ? But certain words that are so much a part of his personality are missing in these letters. His d is not slanted and most of them were in 1969 -78 , the large loop on his y's are nothing like Z's, but indicates a huge ego like I believe Z has. Zodiac has a odd way of spacing his letters in most all of his letters, this is something else that is missing . If Z was about 30 in 1969 why would he be writing to a draft board in 1968 ? The typewriter that was used , was it anything like the one Zodiac used ? Zodiac was a much better artist and would have drawn the picture better. The idea that he had headaches is something that the caller had mentioned on the Jim Dunbar TV show.

Its not enough to be a phone number, but it is enough for a SS number. 305 is Indiana

We know what kind of number it is, Sandy. It's a selective service number.

There are multiple sites to look up the Selective svc# but you need more info- here are examples (the stuff we need, is the stuff we are looking for)

Yeah, we want to do a reverse look-up!!! I am not certain if your selective service number became your military ID number if you were inducted. Anyone know?

I misunderstood, when I read your post I thought you were asking for any ideas as to what the numbers could be ?

The first number is the state that they are registered in, 30 is NY. The second number is the number of their local board in their state. The third number is their year of birth, this guy's birth year was 1947.
