Draft Board Letter

Draft Board Letter

Postby morf13 » Tue Nov 12, 2013 9:58 am

Wow, I tried to get this one for a couple years. The 'Draft Board' document. The dates seem to indicate March of 68, BEFORE Zodiac was ever known to exist. I have a couple opinions, but I will wold on stating them until AFTER I hear some opinions from others. Hey Trav, have at it :D

(Could one of the Mods take these out of PDF format and post them on here as regular pics? I am working today so may not have time, thanks)

Has anybody seen the little drawing of the building sitting on the hillside before? It looks familiar as if I have seen it before. Was it in that 1200 page release from last year? I could swear I have seen this before.

Nobody chiming in yet, I noticed these things similar to Z:

Candy cane letter f

Lower case J like Z(and Bates Desktop poem)

The writer connects the 'TH' in the word THIS, just like Z

The writer's #2 looks like a Z, and where he wrote 'room1020', he actually wrote it as 'room10Z0'

Lower case Y seems to be rather long pointing down like Z

Also, double postage on the envelope(although, it looks like BOTH a postcard & envelope, like 2 separate mailings)

I wonder if the author signed this letter with his real name, and if so,I would have to assume that polic ruled him out as Z.

I'll reserve my handwriting analysis comments and just say....yep, someone was on acid!

How was this associated with the Zodiac case later on, if mailed in 1968?

The rambling langauge seems mostly not Z like to me.

More like the Equinox letter writer you identified

Tiburon CA would later be where Penn worked.

Ted bombed a genetic engineer inTiburon in 1993

Threre are a few handwriting similarities as you note.

Is that a THOREAU stamp?
