TBH I wasn't sure where to put this but by default this seems to be the logical place. It could have gone into one of cipher threads, Zynchronicity, the Marco thread because there's a few cross over areas.

Really all I wanted to do was point out that Zodiac does actually give us a 13 symbol name and we 'didn't get it for a while'. Both parts to it in fact are 13 characters. Both the name and the postfix. I've placed them both just in case it meant anything. Bottom line is I have no specific thoughts beyond the pattern or coincidence that in a debated Z letter we have a name that's 13 characters and that the postfix with it was also 13 characters. There is also some zync again in the dash or line use. Some common characters in the name and the Z13. One that matches in place (M) and for a bit of proper zync - reading down the second column spells HER, the first three characters in the Z340.

Make of it what you will. If anything.

Wow really cool Trav! This is worth looking into. Maybe Red Phantom is also in the 340????

The only thing I don't get is the "redwithrage", its only 11 letters, so does not fit the 13 letter cipher, right?

That would be correct. redwithrage is 11 'letters' but (redwithrage) is 13 'characters'.

Whether or not it has anything at all to do with the Z13 or Z340 I don't know. Really the only thing it might have to do with it simply that it has two sets of 13 characters. I accept that the Marco letter (some don't) is a Z letter and as such I have to wonder if there is anything in the two lines of 13 characters as a sign off. Maybe it's nothing more than a reflection of his semi-regular width choices in things like the ciphers.

I've paired the two lines with the Z13 just to save anyone else the trouble. The comments regarding "for a while" was more tongue-in-cheek paraphrasing than anything.

It's there to spark ideas or derision lol. Actually It's probably been pointed out before? Either way here it is now, again?, whatever 'it' is ... or isn't.

I am not a fan of anagrams when it comes to the ciphers and phrases in the Zodiac letters but I really could not think of anything else to do with this revelation. I used the two question marks as wild cards.



I tried anagramming "The Red Phantom" because it is 13 letters but I did not get any hits for that.

Ohhhhh so close. One 'E' short of a Zyncdown. I know that's not exactly what you meant but taking the 'letters' or 'characters' as symbols I was just curious. At least it had the brackets.
