an interesting discovery on symbol no. 8 of the bus bomb cipher... I was watching the movie Agora with Rachel Weisz...the movie is a based on the life of Hypatia. She was a mathematician, philosopher etc...during the 4th century Roman occupied Egypt. She was eventually killed by stoning...during the movie in the last scene the priest raises the bible and I noticed it displayed the symbols for the Alpha and the Omega...but in lower case...and to my amazement the no. 8 symbol matched the lower case Omega symbol. Of course I googled the lowercase symbol and discovered that it stands for ANGULAR VELOCITY and its units are radians/second. So where do I go from here....?

That symbol on the right in the photo,looks very similar to the symbol on the 'my name is' cipher,take a look

Yes, they are one and the same. The question is..what does it represent? maybe the upper omega represents O and lowercase represents M...for Omega....or in the bus bomb case maybe is represents a radian...the rest of the code is math of some sort...I wish I had more time to really do a deep dive!!

Well Omega stems from the book of Revelation when Jesus is referred to as being "The Alpha and the Omega" which as we all know just translates roughly as meaning The beginning and the end or the first and the last. It's actual traditional meaning is literally 'A & Z.' Alpha and Omega are the first and last letters of the Greek Alphabet. Here is the A and Z as seen in the Greek alphabet:

So if that Greek symbol is seen in the coded ciphers, it's logical to assume it signifies the letter Z. But, I am an absolute novice when it comes to cryptology.

Thats what i deduced as well. I was raised stricted Baptist!! . I knew the meaning ..i just didnt know what the lowercase symbols looked like. I discovered depending on what script you write them in... they take many shapes and forms.
it was pure coincidence that i happened to see this real quick scene which is just a few seconds but having studied the cipher for so long ...my brain said hey! what was that ...rewind!!! lol!

The "Omega" symbol also translates to a number value (800).

I found it curious since this is the one place the Omega symbol is used and has mathematical directions to show a particular location.

Great insight thanks for the link. I do believe that it is a locations possibly both a location and maybe even phrases mixed with radians...etc...an exact location
