I was working in Oakland at a restaurant that I had worked at for many yrs. It sat over looking the "water" that separated Alameda and Oakland. It was a very busy night so I am thinking it had to be a Friday or Sat. night. A nicely dressed older man was sitting at the bar and asked me if he could do my horoscope for me? I said yes and gave him my birth date.I was very flatered when I read what he had written about me, so I kept it. That was done in the late 80's.
Many yrs later and after I had read Zodiac a few times , I ran across the note and felt it looked like Zodiac printing. When I show it to my friends in LE, they all have said that it looked like Zodiac printing. Some of the Y's look different, but this is printing that is many yrs later than the late 60's - 70's. My handwriting has changed some over the yrs. The other note that was given to me by my suspect, was done to make sure I didn't miss the Zodiac like printing. He made sure that everything was like he had done in his known letters.It was written at another restaurant where I use to go almost every day, to visit a friend of mine. So it was not something done over a light table to copy Z's writing. When you look at what I have received over the many yrs small bits at a time it make little sense. When you see it all together and realize that I had once lived in Napa and worked in Vallejo as a waitress durring the Z time frame, it starts to come together. The iceing on the cake is that he put his Lake B costume in my car shortly after . Then the clincher for me anyway, was that someone had stolen my clothesline sometime that summer of 1969. It could have been only a few days before the stabbing or a few months, I don't remember. In fact , I didn't remember about that clothesline until "someone"bought a new package like the one stolen, from me and put it on my front porch many yrs later, like 15 or 20 yrs and many moves later!
When I started putting everything together, I thought that Zodiac had made a mistake and left his costume and all of that other stuff in my car, thinking it was his brown car . But when the new clothesline was put on the porch, I realized the costume being put in my car was no accident.

Now I am thinking it was to frame my husband who worked at the Coronado Inn where Darlene hung out ? Did my husband date her ? I have no idea.

Sandy, are you saying that the older gentleman at the bar gave you the handwritten horoscope note? So it sounds like he wrote
it while he sat there that night? What is his physical description, if you can remember? Height, weight, hair color, actual age, how
was he dressed. Do you remember if he was smoking or not? What was the name of the restaurant? Thanks

And, regarding the clothesline, do you still remember if it had a small whole inside, like a tube? Small detail, I know..

My clothesline that was taken was white hallow cored plastic close line and so was the new one that the perp replaced. The only differance was the new one looks slighty thinner than the one I had in Napa. Good question thanks for asking.

Sandy, I really enjoy reading your story. I have read bits and pieces on different message boards. I am having a little trouble following it all. I know most of the people on these boards have read it all, but I have only been reading the message boards for a little over a year and it seems as if pieces to your story are scattered around and a some parts are confusing to me (I'm kinda dumb too, so that doesn't help!!). Is there somewhere that I can read everything - the full story, in order? You mention more that one "man," and I have been having trouble following that as well. Then again, I am only online late at night/early morning when I have down time at work, so I am normally pretty tired.

I tried to do it all in order, but each time people would ask me questions, that breaks up the story and took it in another direction. For me to do it in order with out interuptions , it would have to be done in book form.
It is confusing for me as well, so don't think you are stupid LOL. Even when I am talking to someone trying to tell them the story, if I get interupted it throws me off. A good friend of mine forgets and interupts, I have asked this friend to please let me talk, but that hasn't worked. So even my friend hasn't heard all of it.

The reason I say that there are at least two of them, is because I have seen them together following me. One is R.H. , him I know because he was a customer at my job, the other one is more dangerous, he is the one who shot at me and tried to force me off the road. I don't have his name for sure yet, but I am working on it. I think the police have his name, because I gave them his license plate number. He is a suspect for some murders in Pittsburg Ca. early 90's. He happens to be the same man I got away from in 1968 Vallejo and is supected in murders , is why I think he makes for a very good suspect.
At least this suspect has been ID'd as a killer by a young woman who got away from him! The name I am looking at for him, places him in Vallejo living there from the early 50's to 1978 maybe longer I need to do more investigating to know just when he did move to Martinez then Pleasant Hill Ca. I am still working on getting more information on him. He lived only a few blocks from Darlene Ferrin and Terry's Waffle shop. If I have the right guy and there isn't another one with the same name who looks just like him,then I have seen a picture of him on the Ship "Enterprise", so that also puts him in the Navy.
Has anyone ever wondered why Zodiac used his logo for the letter D in his cyphers? I believe it could be a clue to his name?
This suspect has that letter for the start of his name, he is a Taurus, lived in Vallejo very close to Darlene and Terry's and was in the Navy. He walks with a slight limp as discribed at the Stine scene, is about 5ft 8 or 9, had brown curly hair and a round face like Mike M said the shooter had. Talks like Nancy Slover discribed ( slowly ,as if he was reading ) A drawl but not a southern drawl ,like Bryan Hartnell said the killer had. Has the lazy eye and scars that only Kathleen Johns could have seen. She also saw childrens tee shirts in the back seat , this guy had two children at that time. I am working on placing him in Southern Calif. either living there for a short time or working there. No other suspect has everything we know Zodiac had that this one has.

Thank you for clearing up some things. I'm still pretty confused, but not as much as before haha. Have you thought about writing everything out in order to post? Or maybe putting together a website?

I am not smart enough to do a website. But perhaps I can do a "time line" and ignore any questions until I am done. I am pretty sure it would have to be on this thread. I had a meeting with some new friends in Vallejo a few days ago. Some were son's of Vallejo Cops, one was an ex cop from Vallejo who liked Art Allen as a suspect . But I think he is very interested in my suspects now. I will be going back and talking to Darlene's neighbors from the home she grew up in on Jorden street.

I have a hard time wondering why a lot of people haven't put two and two together, when they know I had to have crossed paths with the Zodiac or he would not have put his killing costume in my car after the stabbing ? And taking some of my clothesline before the killing ? They just don't want to believe that I am telling the truth I guesss ? People who know me well ,know I am not a liar, I am very trustworthy. So much so that when I was working and the cash register was broken, the owner let me work out of a shoe box of money, knowing that I would never steal a dime. I can't stand people that lie or steal, I would not make up what happened to me over all these yrs, I want this coward caught. Only the truth will help to catch him.
