Was there an obit or something?

I don't feel we can post his name on our forum.
There is an article in todays news.
His two sons will be taking over his business. Don't think they would want their Dads name on a Z forum. He lived to be 94 years young.

After Zam's first post, I searched and found this same article. Lots of info.

You feel comfortable posting this morf? I guess technically we aren't saying anything...just posting info.

The description in the SFPD report the night of Stine's killing states early 40's.

Nancy Slover said the voice sounded "mature".

Some older people look younger, some younger people look older. I don't think we should rule out people based on age unless they were 14 or 70! ;)

Let's discuss Mr. X, or Kjell Qvale. Many of us have known his name for a long while, but it has been hush hush. I think we can talk about him a bit more openly now.

I respect Mike R's work, and experience, in gathering all he has over the years, so whether or not I think he is right about Qvale(I personally don't)is irrelevent. I would like to hear from Mike himself in this discussion. Mike, as a skeptic, and wanting to see more solid proof, do you have any hand printed samples from him? I have seen the signed autographs, etc, but never any printed writing.

R.I.P. Mr. X. I know it's a weird and conflicting feeling when your person of interest passes away. I don't know a ton about the reasons for suspicion but I think Mike has, for the most part, done a good job of investigating and being respectful at the same time.

As for the age, I think even Mike would agree he's at the upper range of eyewitness report (and yes... I include Fouke as an important eyewitness) but I suppose appearance is more important than actual age. Would like to hear more as well...
