The oldest witness went outside and stood on the corner (don't know if it was the southeast or northeast corner) of Wash/Cherry and watched the killer as he walked north on Cherry.

I don't think the teen having seen Zodiac walking away down Cherry St, disappearing at Jackson and Cherry Intersection is being questioned, or is it? Well anyway, the teen from where he was positioned, could not obviously have witnessed Zodiac 'Dash into the Presidio' as one report claims one witness had done. I assume that it was Fouke the were referring to as the witness who saw Zodiac heading toward the presidio, but thats just an assumption due to not having any other witness that is named as being in a position to see Z turn left at Maple & Jackson and into the Presidio.
Ohh, thinking of it, there was one person mentioned...
Officer A Pelissetti:
Got down to the next corner which was Maple (and Jackson). Looked to the left toward the Presidio, saw absolutely nothing as it was much darker there and I figured the chances of finding somebody was almost Nill. I turned to the Right, and I saw a man walking his dog. He was somewhat older than the description I had, a whole lot thinner, and had absolutely no blood on his clothes. I asked that Gentleman if he saw anybody walking in the area and he told me 'No'". Maybe that could have been the witness who saw Z dash into the park...If one even existed at all. He is certainlly located right in the correct area to see someone enter the Presidio. Maybe he saw a man dash into the Presidio after his brief encounter with Armond Pelissetti? We know that Zodiac still hadnn't gone into the Presidio through Jackson & Maple at the time when Pelissetti encountered the witnesses because after Pelissetti turns and walks back up Jackson st and onto Cherry, it is at this point, probably about 60 - 90 seconds after Pelissetti saw the dog walker, that Officers Fouke & Zelms pull up on the white male adult who's now seemingly appeared out of no-where the street where Pelissetti had just been prior. Pelissetti would have had to have passed Zodaic on Jackson st somewhere for this to happen, either that or Z was hid in one of the gardens, or behind a car, for example, untill he had observed Pelissetti walk bk up Jackson St and turn onto Cherry, then Zodiac emerged from hiding and walked right into the path of another responding unit, that of Fouke & Zelms.
