Welsh Chappie apparently filed a FOIA request with the Department of Justice to obtain the name of the man observed walking on Jackson Street. The man was observed by an 8 year old witness. WC received a response from DOJ that revealed the name:

Xenophon Anthony came to Lakeside in the fall of ,4-7. He soon distinguished himself for his athletic ability, winning letters in foot- ball, basketball and track. He also excelled scholastically. He was a consistent Cold Star winner and was near the top of his class. In his senior year he was secretary of the student body, vice-president of the s'Big Ll, club, and vice-president of the dorm council. His friends claim that his athletic and scholastic talents are only exceeded by his social effectiveness

Ancestry.com had a college yearbook entry for his wife, listing her residence in Riverside, CA.

I thought that was rather interesting. But when I clicked through to the underlying yearbook entry, it's actually from Stanford University.

Why would Ancestry.com list her residence as Riverside? Is there an actual connection or is it some kind of error?

Since the photograph was taken at high school, I have age progressed his face to around 36 years of age, nearer to his age in 1969, of 38.

I'm confused because there was another FOIA granted to Welsh Chappie that gave a different name (Robert Hale West) for the suspect identified by the eight year old witness: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1102

UPDATE: I see now from that thread that it wasn't certain West was the man identified by the young witness.
