Is a small amount even for 1960's standards. Plus my wild guess is BAC levels was not very high on list back in them days as today standards are. Country sure advanced lot from them days.
Just a idea that I happen notice in my grandmothers autopsy report where I asked myself. What is going on here

?? until this was explain to myself.
This a case we may never know the real true story, but I happen know this strange fact & put it up on here just in case. My guess you need take in account from time of death & body heat index time period until time of autopsy samples taken.

"Alcohol found in the body after death may have come from a bottle, or it may come from the body itself. Normally when we drink alcoholic beverages, our bodies process alcohol and break it down into harmless substances over time. In death, however, the body may contain alcohol created by its own bacteria, and this alcohol level can rise as the body decays. A medical examiner trying to estimate the pre-death alcohol level in a deceased person must consider these and other factors."
