I know this thread is over a year old however it should be noted that during this time it was extremely popular for people to purchase and listen to police band scanners. You could listen, in real time, to radio calls between police dispatch and responding officers in the field. Point being - anyone listening to the Vallejo police band that night would have been privy to all info passed between LE officers, in real time, as it happened.
