I am sorry but if Gyke were alive ,he would be one of the last people I would be afraid of. I have not seen anything other than he went to work in Albany NY at one time, and that Victim Darlene had a connection to Albany NY, in a address book that her ex said was his address book at one time. From what I have read of Gykes writings, he seemed to be more of a humanitarian than a hater of humans.It was said that he was at Darlene's so called "painting party". (That has never been proven .) She told me herself, that the man she saw at Gykes home in S.F. was not the man who's picture is on the internet as Richard Gaikowski. If she didn't recognise him , how could she say she saw him at the party ?
She was the person who told Ken Narlow that Gyke was at that party , supposedly so was Art Allen and his brother Ron, she also said that Buz Gordon was there. I talked to Buz about that party and he told me he was never at Darlene's home,that he went out with her only one time. He had no reason to lie to me in 1990 when we spoke on the phone.I think the only person missing from that party was Paul Stine.Who was said to have driven Darlene all over S.F. (He wasn't a cab driver until after her death.) Darlene's sister and I are friends , she has been through a lot over her sisters murder,it has affected her health and wellness. People have made fun of her and called her a liar, but if she tells them something that fits their belief, it then becomes a fact.If you don't feel that someone is credible,then you shouldn't believe anything they say. Bottom line is, there is no real proof that Gyke knew Darlene. If he shows up on Oct 18th ,perhaps he will put all of this to rest ?

Why do I always feel with Gaik, that a guy named Bryan has been approached with the Gaik recordings and said it isn't even close? Bryan said he really honed in on Z's voice, well he wouldn't be able to ID him since Z had his costume on, so that's all he had to hone in on. but Bryan made a conscious effort to follow Z's speech. Now Gaik has a very distinctive voice, and Bryan said that Z had a distinctive voice that he would recognize if he ever heard it again. Of the 3 who heard Z's voice, Bryan by far had the longest conversation with Z, and it wasn't Z calling in his deeds, it was really a conversation that lasted longer than a minute. To me, if Bryan put a thumbs down on Gaik's voice being that of Z, that would end it.
Well the only thing for me this show could do, is if they get into a conversation, and this spirit, Gaik?, tells them where he left the evidence. I've yet to see one of these shows where the spirit actually leads the folks to what they want to know. It's like it almost does but never quite gets there, always leaves you guessing. I hope this one is different. I'll definitely give it a listen.

I will bet the Ranch that if the ghost of Gyke shows up, he will laugh at the whole thing. Then he will say did Goldcatcher put you up to this by any chance ?
The voice I have heard many times of the man claiming to be Zodiac, is like no other voice I have ever heard, the closest was "Hal" the robot. SFPD has one of the recordings of his voice that I gave to them where he is not whispering, I wish they would let Hartnell hear that one. Or give it back to me, so I can put it on You Tube and send the link to Hartnell.

Yep that is the one , I wish I could have seen it today ! That is what the voice I have heard sounds like.
We had several bomb threats at the restaurant where I hung out, back in the late 80's early 90's. I asked the manager who took one of the calls, what the man sounded like ? She told me he sounded just like a robot. The calls would come when I was there with a male friend having lunch.

No nothing like Jack Nicholson, nothing at all like any human voice I have ever heard. He speaks in a very slow way , as flat sounding as the robot DG posted about. You should see that movie ,because that is as close to the voice you will hear. It also has a raspy sound to it, like someone who has chained smoked all of his life. If he yells it is like a screech, as if something is wrong with his vocal cords ? He yelled at me only once , when I spent the day at Darlene's sisters house. He screamed : STAY AWAY FROM PAM!!!!!

God how creepy... I am very familiar with the voice of Hal the computer on the spaceship. Great film, Stanley Kubrick.
Stanley Kubrick also did "Clockwork Orange", which was a favorite of my suspect. He actually bought the soundtrack album.

HAL's voice was by Douglas Rain, and he did a satire of HAL in Woody Allen's Sleeper before returning as HAL in the movie 2010.

Serya, Thank you for the link to Hals voice. It seems it is not as flat as I remembered it being, but still close to my suspects voice. I wish there is a way to slow the speech down , Hal talks a lot faster. My suspect enunciates each and every word slowly and without any emotion, very flat with a slight lisp like drawl, do to being slightly paralized on one side of his face. You can hear it on the tape I have (even though he is whispering), it is on the Sandy's POI thread, last page I believe. For those of you that can't make out what he says to me , it is : I like your voice baby, bye bye to you too. Then he does the EAR/ONS heavy breathing sound and say's: I want.

That was when I picked up thr phone, he then hung up being the coward that he is.

Lets hope that the Zodiac calls the radio show on Oct 18th. Knowing what I believe I know of him,( that is if he calls in) ,I think he would use the name Richard.
