just adding, he is someone who makes things happen. his work behind the scenes on the ear/ons case was incredible. he knows how to work the media, le, and the legal end of things.

I swear his name came up in the Zodiac case at one point years ago, but I might be trippin'.

I know everyone is very excited about this news of the DNA being tested and that we will finally find out who the Zodiac is.

Paul Holes has had his home up for sale for a while , so there is a very good change that he could be moving to Riverside, he is a bit young to retire. Lets hope he will continue working and catching more creeps like the GSK.
We need more men like him to solve crimes , but unfortunately there aren't very many detectives that have his tenacity and smarts.

I am disappointed in how Terry Poyser is handling this case. It doesn't seem to be the way it should have been handled. He reads this site , so I hope that he sees this post.

Terry just because you and others believe that Zodiac has died long ago, doesn't make it a fact. He could be very much alive!
If Zodiac is alive, he has now been warned to destroy what ever evidence he has, which can hurt the cased to some degree.Iappreciate the kind words you have said about me and how I don't argue with people on line. I hope that this post won't change what you think of me, but it is the only way I can try to un- ring the bell.

Paul Holes did it the way that this one should have been handled. He did all of the ground work first,then got the discarded DNA to prove that it did match what they had for the killer/ rapist, before making the arrest . Then and only then was the announcement made on national TV ! If Zodiac is alive and most of you know that I have good reason to believe that he is, this news could cause him to not only get rid of evidence, he could leave the country, or commit suicide!

Tahoe, you are not trippin, Paul Holes is very interested in the Zodiac case and has been for a long time. I have spoken to him about it, not that long ago . So yes he has a strong interest in the case. I am sure that he is feeling what I am feeling right now, about how this is being handled incorrectly.

I thought the same thing Sandy, but I also have to think Zodiac (if alive--and he very well could be) would have thought about this anyway.

Be on the lookout for old dudes who commit suicide. But then again, guys like him don't ever think they'll get caught.

Very true Tahoe, But there has been so much said about there being absolutely no Zodiac DNA to compare to anyone ,thanks to some uninformed sleuths. He probably felt he was once again in the clear and wasn't worried about that at all.

Now he is having different thoughts about it for sure. My suspect I have been told has moved to Los Angeles , maybe the TV stations down there won't announce what the stations here have already. He does read these sites though, lets hope he has macular degeneration and can't read.

Sandy if Z is still alive he was already warned when they arrested DeAngelo and announced the new methodology.
