I am not impressed but I am hoping there is more to be revealed.
From the top - his solution appears to be:
Here it is I Kill
both night and day I live
by the gun barrel (spelled barel) aim
So quit wishing for game to be over pigis
Her family and Harvey Hines (a former detective who researched her case) created it post late-1997 after the area code change to (530). They were active in South Lake Tahoe at the time doing research and working with the SLTPD.
Probably in 2001: https://www.tahoedailytribune.com/news/ ... years-ago/

Wait, so the lass family and Harvey Hines created a missing person poster for donna with a cipher included on it?
marienbad wrote:I have enjoyed the show, even though it feels a bit like a TV version of a glossy magazine, because it is pretty watchable stuff. I don't think either Kane or Sullivan is the Zodiac, and am not even certain they committed the Lass or Bates killings, so it was kinda strange to see them following these avenues. It was interesting that they dropped Sullivan after episode 1, almost as if they got the DNA results and knew it wasn't him, so moved on to Kane.
I also think this will be the start of something where they will do another series next year as well.
And now, after reading this thread, I am left wondering which episode/segment Tahoe was on! Can someone clue me in please?

Richard Grinell pointed out that Nixon was the 37th president. 37 kills. Hmm. He also noted that Nixon was president from 1969 until 1974, which lines up. Could there really be something to this??

I figured that out, too, and he also, drumroll, represented the 12 District of CA from 47-51. OK, so back then it represented eastern LA, it now is SF!
But then there is the whole Ross Sullivan thing- claiming Binghamton is a stones throw to Albany (whats over 2 hours between friends?) so clearly Ross had a distinct Albany connection? Nixon moved to NYC, that is closer to Albany! And for anyone who doesn't know, Albany is the State Capital, not NYC.
I have found the show as a whole highly entertaining. I would say its a complete waste except for 2 things- I entertain my husband with a running commentary on their "discoveries...
...and the only new fact I never remember hearing was that the empty houses between where CJB was killed was used for library overflow and storage. Is this true??? The librarian they interviewed said that, which makes me wonder about where the desk was found. That could hint at Ross writing it, but they also made it sound like no one knew the houses were empty except library employees since they were using it- thus the perfect place for an ambush???
SMH, was hoping for more but maybe that one nugget will happen?
