Greetings, all!
My handle's Dag MacLugh, and I'm a newbie. I'm particularly interested in the Bates case, and am convinced it was the first murder committed by Zodiac. At one time I lived near Riverside, and was able to get up front and personal with the case. I've toured the RCC campus, seen the Bates' home, talked to folks at the Press-Enterprise, and squirreled through Riverside's City Library as well as that at Ramona High School. While I was at it, I chatted with Bryan Hartnell, an attorney in Loma Linda CA, but learned little from him. Further, I had a phone conversation with Bud Kelly in '91, when he was still a righteous cop.
I look forward to sharing my conclusions with serious participants.

Welcome DAG, good to have you here,and look forward to hearing about your thoughts & findings regarding the Bates case. By the way, I also think she may very well have been a Z victim,and at the very least, I think Z wrote the letters in her case. The bates case has always held a special place for me, and as a reminder of her death, a life cut short way too early, my Daughter was born on October 30, so that day is a special day for me, but also a sad reminder of Cheri's case.
