A few years ago, while waiting for a new Michael Connelly book to come out, I decided to try the Zodiac book, having vaguely heard about the serial killer. While I didn't necessarily enjoy the book that much, I was fascinated by the mysterious nature of the coded messages and letters the killer sent to newspapers. That's what got me interested in the zodiac and how analyzing his ciphers became a hobby.

Some of you may remember me from the zodiac killer facts web site. I have learned a lot over there, especially from great minds such as doranchak, glurk, smithy... I am a Canadian, working in the software development field. It's great to have found an active and level-headed community to discuss and debate zodiac-related topics. Thanks for the hospitality, Morf!

_pi,

Good to have you here. I'd noticed you'd joined and assumed you were the pi from ZKF so thanks for the intro and confirmation. ZKF is also 'from whence I came' as a lot of us are and I learned a lot there too and still do. Always good to have another cipherette or cipherphile ......ok those sounded good in my head but on paper one is too feminine and the other too creepy lol.

Anywho looking forward to reading more of your ideas and post.

Trav.

Hello, Pi!

I've read some of your posts over on ZKF. Really interesting, especially the stuff on the Unsolved 32! Glad you found Morf's site, and looking forward to hearing more of whatever you may be working on!
