The Z case has always haunted me. The Z was the boogeyman that changed Vallejo. Parking on a loney street after that, nah never! Guys that I knew went out with guns looking for the Z. One car full of guys were run off the LHR by a car with bright lights shinning at them. I knew and recognized some people in the police records. I even have one friend that was searched and interviewed as the possible Z, so I assume he was one of the 2,500 suspects. I have 2 good friends that saw a strange large guy & car at BRS July 3rd. Another friend was at BRS with a group of girls, dancing and doing silly girl stuff only to notice a strange guy watching them. I always read and followed the newspaper articles on the Z. About 3 years ago I decided to search on line for more information. I saw Tom Vs site and started to read it. But for some reason I was interested in Farmers research on Penn. At that time his forum was really busy. Disillusion set in when so many things didn't match up. ZodiacZee was started & I was a Mod at that site. Most the Opord deserters jumped ship and joined us. All was well at ZodiacZee until the issues with Crabtree. The site was shut down and lucky for us Morf started ZKS, at that time it was just Morf, AK & myself, we found we worked well together even if we agreed to disagree. As the forum grew we were lucky to add on other wonderful Mods to help us. I've also met a lot of the local Z researchers, developed some great friends & fellow researchers. I'm friends with 2 VTH reporters that worked at the paper during the Z days. Also friends with Lyndon Lafferty whom I meant researching Grant, and James Dean who was a cop assigned to the cold Z case in the 70's. It's amazing the people I have meant & spoke to thanks to my contacts. I've taken alot of Management courses at my previous jobs, I'm a people person & find some of the Z researchers my favorite people to hang with. I've always said you have to be a little crazy to remind sane. I've also said if the real Z joined a Z forum he would probably he banned for not following the rules.
My hopes that this site attracts the best of the best. I'd love to see some of the former great thinkers, researchers to return to posting & join in with their knowledge now & then.

I met Zamantha about three yrs ago ? We first met online at the Oboard site, I then invited her to a Zodiac Task force meeting in Vallejo at Blue Rock Springs, to then meet her in person and introduce her to the Z group, I took a liking to her right away. She was still new in knowing a lot about the case at that time, sense then has worked very hard at learning it. Now she won't slow down LOL. That was when I introduced her to my friend Lyndon Lafferty, who had just got out of the hospital an hour before and should not have come to that meeting. He was still too weak to be there, but wanted to say hello just the same.
We have done a lot of investigating together ,many hours of Zodiac talk . She has done all of the scanning and posting of pictures for me. She works every day on helping this site to stay friendly ! Thank you Zamantha

Now for my introduction. I first became interested in the Zodiac case, when I worked as an waitress in Vallejo and lived in Napa at the time it all started there. I knew a lot of the people who were involved in the case like George Bawart who worked with Howard Buzz Gordon. I was dating Buzz Gordon before and after Darlene was murderd about 5 yrs of dating him ( not knowing he was married at that time ). We would park waiting to see if the Zodiac would show up, crazy idea but true.
I had an encounter in 1968 Vallejo, when someone stole my coil wire. Some male friends of mine stole one out of another car so I could leave around 2am. I was followed that night by whom I believe was the person who stole my coil wire. (That person is my number one Zodiac suspect.) Other strange things kept happening to me after that night.
I did by the way, get a good look at the man that night when he parked across the street from my home. He was short stocky, brown curly hair, I don't think he had on glasses that night ? He looked at me with the most very scary- insane looking face I have ever seen! He had on a Army green jacket with a brown fur collar, like a Policemens jacket. I dated policemen and knew that they had patches on the shoulder of their jackets, he didn't have one, so he was not a Cop. He looked to be about 30 yrs old at that time. His car was a light golden brown car that I believe was a older Mercury Comet ,it looked a lot like the Corvair and the Falcon.No chrome along the sides, but the lines looked the most like the Mercury Comet.
In the 70's I saw him in a VW Concord Ca. He is still around and enjoys playing games with me, he has shot at me and pointed a gun at me one other time, he also has tried to force me off of the road late at night. He looks to be about 72-75 now and seems to be in good health. So my mission is to find out what his name is and see if I can get him caught ? That is why I am at this site and at the Zodiackiller.com site.
I am sure like others, you are thinking if he is Zodiac then why am I not dead yet ? I can only guess that he liked the game of seeing if he could scare me first? He has told me how he wants to kill me and it is not how he has done in the past, he would have to be very close to do what he said he will do. He knows I carry a gun, so I think that has made him think twice about getting too close to me. Would I shoot him if he came towards me in a threatening manner ? You bet I would and he knows I am one heck of a good shot ! I had a membership for many yrs with the American Sportsman club.As much as he has watched me over the yrs, he had to have seen me shoot.

Meeting all of the nice Z people I have met over the past 15yrs, is iceing on the cake for me, but my number one reason is to get Zodiac caught, whom ever he is .

Zam & Sandy have provided lots of info and some great photos. Always nice to have locals around.
