Aqvale simply means I'm a member of the qvale family, it is not an initial.

I found this forum a couple years ago while researching my family tree and have thought about posting a few times.

I cannot confirm or deny the allegations/suspicions agaisnt my grandfather or his brother that appear on this forum, as I am no Zodiac expert. The thought of a family member being connected is pretty horrid, but I'd like to keep an open mind.

I suppose I'm here if anyone has questions in reguards to my family, perhaps to provide insight? If what I have to say proves to some that a Qvale is no longer a POI that would be a relief, and if the reverse, could some day lead to much needed closure for others. I will try to be as honest as I can be.

Attached is the family book, transcribed from norwegian and updated by Bjarne Qvale in 2004. Our family branch starts on page 62. I believe it can be found for free online somewhere, not sure.

I never met your grandfather, but know people that knew him & all their memories were good ones. Then again know a couple people that feel he's a good POI.

Welcome a qvale, Thank you for sharing information with us. My dear friend Tony Dean was a very good friend of your grandfather. I said" was" because Tony has passed away. Your grandfather and Tony had race horses together and were good friends. From what he had to say about your grandfather was that he was a very kind man, it is very doubtful that he could be connected to the Zodiac, let alone be Zodiac.
I personally think it is a shame that his name has ever been brought up as a possible suspect, because he lived on Jackson street near where Zodiac was last seen.

Zodiac is a" extremely" mean evil man and could never be thought of as a nice person by anyone who knows him. I hope that you will check out all of the information about Zodiac, so that you will know in your heart , that your grandfather was not a serial killer.As far as I know there are only two people who have him as their suspect, unlike other suspects like Art Allen, Larry Kane and others.
