my 10 year fascination and study of zodiac case/ experience

Hello,

I am a student from the east coast who got intrigued on the zodiac case by seeing some of the 2005 movie with robin tunney and Justin chambers back in the spring of 07. I then researched the case and saw the david fincher movie two years actually after it came out. I was in 7th grade back when I first got hooked, and in 2009 I read an article -http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Another-possible-Zodiac-suspect-put-forth-3225232.php . I ended up interviewing this man Robert Tarbox and wrote an article about it but never got it published. I thought his experience was worth looking into, as it was either really the zodiac killer he spoke to or someone who just claimed to be the guy. I interviewed Tarbox in 2014-2015, and he died in the summer of 2015. I was always skeptical of Arthur Leigh Allen being the zodiac, he didn't feel right. Here is my article, I do have hope that this case will be solved, and answers will become clear. Hope to talk with you all.

Welcome! I actually thought that movie about the Zodiac case was almost better than Fincher's.

yea, it certainly had the objective quality of zodiac being an unknown subject, but Fincher's was really good, accept for the attitude that it almost had to be Arthur Leigh Allen. I think David Fincher really created a feeling in the movie which drives the mystery of the zodiac in so many minds.

Thanks for your effort. I received your message but not the article. There must be a trick to attaching these things but I can't advise you as I don't have the expertise other than trial and error.

I was very interested in Tarbox and hoping someone would interview him before his death.

Can you tell us if he indicated he would ever reveal the identity of the man who came to see him? Did he tell you anything new?

basically I interviewed him and actually recommended he leave a memoir or something with the guys name on it, he sort of vaguely considered it, but when we spoke he was trying to figure out what to do about it. The ideal thing would have been for him to go to the authorities but he remained bound to the client confidentiality. his Chinese law partner who had died also had the mans name -tarbox didn't seem to want to, I recommended he did that though. what he did was actually illegal
