You mentioned having some Zodiac Letters and envelopes , I am wondering if there could be some DNA under those stamps, or on the flaps of the envelopes that hasn't been tested ?

As you probably know already SFPD has only the partial DNA of Zodiac.
Now that there has been so much advancement in DNA , there is "Witness DNA " which can show if the perp is Hispanic ,African American , Irish etc, even gives the eye color !

That would certainly help with eliminating the many suspects that keep showing up almost monthly .
I am pretty sure that you are aware of that, so I feel sort of silly even mentioning it, but if not check it out when you have time.

Retired Det. Bill Baker and Dahlia, Spoke to Tarbox a few years ago, Tarbox has no intention of ever giving up the name of his suspect , he is very worried about any repercussions against his family from the suspect who is still alive.

The three of us were planing on talking to him again, to see if he has more to say about the suspect.
My thought on if it was thee Zodiac or not is, yes I think it could have been Zodiac using someones military ID, with his picture on it, but not with Zodiac's name.
Zodiac would never trust giving anyone his real name.
Think of any possible Z victims who were in the military and missing a wallet prior to that date ?

Very interesting. I hope you or the Det. talks to him soon. Mr. Tarbox's suspect could now be deceased. Couldn't Tarbox investigate the name given him to see if it matched the man or not? He could then offer his opinion re. the validity of the name and id the man used.

If the man is alive, then we can safely assume that it wasn't Ross Sullivan or any of the others who are now deceased.

I'm wondering about the multi jurisdiction meeting about the zodiac , he mentioned .is that a normal thing or something new they are doing ,like they have info that has changed things in the case ?

Imo it is perhaps "the new normal" thanks in part to technology and modern forensics. Whatever, it is a good thing and something that should have been done long ago. I doubt there is any new information but there are new investigative techniques now and it always helps to compare notes.

Didn't they have a meeting between Napa, Vallejo, and SFPD in 1969 or 70 ? I thought I read that they did meet? The police from northern Calif did go down to Riverside to talk about their case in comparison to Riverside. That is not something new from what I have read.
It is a great idea to have a new meeting with all of the newer detectives.
Some of them that I have spoken to, don't seem to know that much about the case in general ? Or they pretend not to know it ?

Napa for instance, didn't know that the Lake B hood looked anything like a paper sack.They don't seem to know if Cecelia Shepard was missing a watch or not ? Neither did Riverside know if Cheri Jo Bates was missing her watch ?
SFPD forgot about the gloves found in the cab.

SFPD didn't want to hear anything about Zodiac, unless it was something that had to do with the Stine case.Yet they kept the evidence I found in my car in Napa.

I don't think you can get a good picture or profile of Zodiac, unless you know about all of the other cases.

To know everything that is known to be factual about Zodiac, would help to eliminate suspects.
For instance a person who wanted to do everything he could to help people like the farmers union,or the mis-treatment of prisoners.
I am pretty sure that Zodiac was not a humanitarian !

Yes his prints are on a glass that he drank a "Bloody Mary" out of, I gave that to SFPD. I doubt that they bothered to check them out. His DNA should also be on that glass, I was careful not to smudge the prints , I put my hand inside of the glass to put it into the bag that I brought to SFPD.

So sad how this case has been handled, we can thank the kooks who claim that their fathers were the Zodiac and the many others who just want attention.
When someone like myself has credible information and real evidence , it falls on deaf ears.
