Drear Terry.. A few questions
1/ Is your PD still keeping information under wraps from the general public.
2/ How far can you go in divulging information before your superiors squash the project. How much freedom do you have to answer our questions, are you on a level of self management.
3/ Have you been following the case on a personal level..( outside of your shift hours)
4/ How do you think we can help you and how can you help us, do you have information that we don't.
5/ Did Z ever leave a calling card that you know of. As in a piece of jewelry a tape, matchbook or similar. Did he take trophies.
6/ do you have a favorite suspect.
7/ have you seen anything on this site that gives rise to an interest for further investigation so far.
So many more questions .
I appreciate your time .

Just a reminder to everybody, while it's only natural to have questions for Terry, he can only devote so much time to the Z case, and as well to posting on this site or answering questions. Please respect that, and hopefully Terry can answer some questions as he able that won't jeopardize his investigation. And please, as he posted, if you want to share info with him, he asked that you funnel it through me to get it to him,so please do that. Thanks

I'd love for you to discuss Mr. Tarbox with him. He might be very interested in and save himself lots of time by consulting with Tarbox.

Tarbox's Suspect may be a big waste of time, since we don't know the Suspect's name even.If Tarbox was going to go to the police about his Suspect, he's had ample time

Welcome Det. Poyser,
So happy to hear that The Z Case is getting another look! All of us here want this case solved. For myself & other Vallejo people (not even on the forums) we all want & need closure to this case that has haunted us for years. Myself, I know a couple people in the police reports, which draws me in much more. I do have a Vallejo Friend with an interesting Vallejoan POI, never discussed or looked at, but really should be.
Thank you for your help!
Sincerely, Zamantha from Vallejo

Yes but otoh, Tarbox might not be aware of the current situation. Tarbox may decide to confide in this Detective rather than others at other times. How do you know that Tarbox would not be helpful in ELIMINATING many innocent suspects? We don't need to know the suspect's name but the detective should imo. in order to rule him in or out!

I'm not convinced that Tarbox actually met the Zodiac and if so we don't know that the person used his real name. If a Z suspect was found then Tarbox could assist with determining if it's the same person but I won't use him to eliminate. A lot of people offer false confessions. It could have been a joke, someone with mental health that believes they were Z, someone that just wanted attention, or it could have been Z, but personally I find it hard to believe that Z could confess to anyone. Although it is certainly possible.
