Hi. I'd like to introduce myself. I'm the ghost zodiac. I am a retired police detective from Texas.I have been investigating the League City Texas killing field murders along with the I 45 highway of death cases. These murders are primarly located in Galveston county. I found this site after doing some research on those cases as 2 of my suspects where in the San Fran/Tahoe area during the Zodiac murders..One of the suspects is known to the Zodiac case as he was a POI in the Donna Lass case in Lake Tahoe. His name is George Victor Jonasson and he died in 2009. George was a security guard at the hotel Lass worked at and lived for almost 35 years within a few miles of the killing fields and I 45. He lived in the same community as my other suspect who is alive and well. I have been actively pursuing leads in both areas now for 3 plus years and have located a PO box numbered the same as the 58851 box in the 1990 Zodiac christmas card to the San Francisco Chronicle. My po box is within 5 miles of the killing fields and my remaining suspect's wife was a postal employee at this very same location. My suspect also has a PO box within 8 ft of the zodiac mentioned box 58851. There is much more..heres a hint..Zodiac transposes vowels..

I do want to say I believe my suspect is at least the very least a good one.. I believe he wrote the 2005 Tim Miller letter.if you google it. Read it..it is chilling. Zodiac has resurfaced..I will tell you he arrived in Texas early 1970..a December 1971 letter to the Valleo FBI was released by the bureau and it indicates a Houston Galveston Zodiac connection. you can see that letter on Wikipedia I think its series number 4 pages 52-59. I believe the zodiac may have killed 40 or so women in our area...
Morf13 has already compared the writings in the Miller letter and was way ahead of everyone...

Welcome aboard gz.

Yes the vowel transposition thing. I don't recall if it's been explored indepth. Maybe someone else might remember. I do recall mentioning it in passing at some point. Maybe that's all that has been said on the matter?

"Saterical comidy" was what I used as an example/suggestion. The 'e' and the 'i' being the culprits here.

Anyway. Thanks for joining us and great to have someone with actual real life LE experience. You might be able to answer some 'operational practice' queries of which I'm sure we've had/have many. :D

Trav.

Thanks for the Intro GHOST. We have corresponded by email a few times, so i already have a leg up. ;)

As you know, I was the person that originally compared that Tim Miller letter to the Donna Lass letter, and noted the extraordinary similarity in it's creation, and noted Jonasson had moved to the League City area. If you look around here, you will find Jonasson's handwritten SS application. Just use the search function

It's about 9 posts down. The search function doesn't work because it's in the 'top secret' section.

Howdy ghost.

Just recently a discussion was had regarding the post box number is 58351 not 58851. Not sure how that affects your poi. Type those numbers into this sites search mode and it will take you to it.
Cheers

Yes mr lowe, and it isn't a box number either. I too don't know how that might affect things for you ghost.

Also, you mentioned 40 women? No men at all?

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Jonasson was involved in Donna's death, but it would very much surprise me if he was Zodiac.

Welcome...it will be interesting to see how your detective skills are played out here.
