I am new here, looking forward to chatting a bit about this historic case. I'm live about 35 minutes from the Cheri Jo Bates site and have lived my whole life until recently in the sacramento area. My wife was born and raised in Vallejo and is very familiar with the Zodiac case as I have become. Her brother James has been in Arthur L. Allen's house several times and has met him several times. I have man questions that some of you maybe able to help me with.

So much about Allen seems to match but I can't get around his DNA not matching and his appearance doesn't seem to match.
My brother inlaw met him and actually was in his house several times and says he seemed like a nice man. He also says he never saw anything unusual in his house.
My wife was born in Vallejo in 69 and moved out in 87. Her mother worked at the times herald when the letters came in.

Thanks for the Arthur Leigh Allen post, Cragfitzer. After all these years, I wish more information would be made available from the case files but that's not likely to happen. Again, welcome to the board!
