Hey DG9--

We all enjoy looking at different ideas.

As many know, we have a lot of folks who have put years and years into this case...and code solving. Many have come along who think they have figured a lot of it out. That's ok...just remember...it's all in the approach!

A quote from Franklin D. Roosevelt:

"Take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly, and try another. But by all means, try something".

"...they may be dealing with one or more ersatz Zodiacs--other psychotics eager to get into the act, or perhaps even other murderers eager to lay their crimes at the real Zodiac's doorstep." L.A. Times, 1969

Daniel, I have "From Hell" in my dvd collection. Which Ripper suspect do you like best?

I don't see an Oct. 13 Jack the Ripper letter anywhere online. Can you please post a link, if you really want to show Z was imitating JtR, (which, I think, he was). Thanks.

I agree. she didn't quite convince me but it's up there with the best of them. Personally I think it was most likely some 'average' man on the street, it's far too convenient for all the usual suspects to have happened to be famous and have their lives documented so well for research purposes. It's far harder to place Joe Bloggs in London on all murder dates than it is Walter S for example.
We should start a JTR thread in the non-Z section (if there isn't already), I'd like to discuss these and the London Torso murders in some depth as I believe they are related somehow.

DG , So nice to have you here. I have also had a fascination with the connection between Jack The Ripper and Zodiac. Although I don't believe Zodiac has stopped doing his thing. Only that he stopped telling us who and when he has killed them, just like he said he would do.
