I am the puissant (No, I didn't say, "piss ant") Dag MacLugh. I am delighted to be among your number, and trust you reciprocate my sentiments. I find this Forum, and its denizens, to be of therapeutic value for me. Here, I'm not "that weird guy who's hung up on Zodiac." I'm one of a whole buncha weird guys (and gals) who share my mania. Seriously, though, I truly believe that, in bits and pieces, we probably have assembled enough info to discover Zodiac's identity. As I see it, our difficulty is in presenting it in logical, rational form to LE willing to follow up our leads. I know the Zodiac murders are ice cold cases by now, but we must always remember his victims were once warm, living people.

I think that is why most of us are here. It's truly about the victims...not Zodiac. While that is a key word, and we want to know who he was, it is ultimately justice we all seek.
Nice to have you among us.

Hi Dag,
It is very good to share company with you.
May I ask how you pronounce your first name?
It looks Scandanavian to me, but your last name certainly does not.
Take care,
G

I know that feeling. I think my wife wonders about me sometimes, especially when I tell her stories of how Gary Ridgeway or Dennis Rader hid it for so long. I also hope my boss at work never checks my internet history because between Zodiac and Ear/Ons my search history looks pretty disturbing!
But you're right, it's nice to have somewhere like this where it doesn't feel weird to be enthusiastic about investigating this kind of thing (which I think a lot of people confuse for being enthusiastic about the killers in the same way those weird women are who write to serial killers in prison).
