The Kennedys: Ross' roommates when at UC Santa Cruz in 67-68

I wanted to bring this up on a separate thread because the original discussion of it, which took place years ago now, is buried somewhere else and I think it's VERY important. I know we have a lot of new followers here and people with a renewed interest in Ross so I think they might help.

I think we need to find the three Kennedy siblings who were Ross' roommates when he was a student at UC Santa Cruz and he lived at 512 2nd st. Apt 2. Their names were Terry Kennedy, Phillip Kennedy and Cindy Kennedy. Terry Kennedy also worked as a food server at the school with Ross that year.

The school year they lived with Ross (67-68) was the same one when Ross had his mental breakdown and was arrested in February 1968, they probably have insight into this. It was also less than one year after the murder of Cheri Jo Bates. I'm willing to bet you these people have some stories about Ross.

In addition to that, they could tell us if Ross drove and/or owned a car. Since this date was close to the Zodiac murders as well (which began in late 1968) that information could be of great importance. The apartment they lived in was actually far from the school and I think a car would be necessary to get to school and back every day, but they could confirm. They might also know if Ross owned a gun.

The problem of course is that Kennedy is a very common name, but given that we have the individual names of three siblings I wonder if that would make it easier to locate them. We also know where they went to college (UC Santa Cruz). So I don't think it's impossible to locate them. But we need to try, i'm not sure how hard we looked a couple of years ago.

I've always thought this was very important but it never seems to go anywhere. So I started a thread with the hope of turning this into a bit of a project to find them and speak with them. This is definitely one angle that could yield good results that we have not tried. If anyone has any ideas i'd love to hear all about them.

We could also ask them if Ross had any schizophrenic gait (walking) irregularities or hand tremors (mild Parkinsonism) in 1967 - 1968. Did he own any weapons?

And do they have any pictures of Ross during this time!

If she is Linda's sister-in-law, does that mean Phillip or Terry might be CIndy's husband?

Interesting development. I sure hope this guy wants to talk. I'm not saying anyone should be dishonest, but if this guy is contacted, it should be from and angle that it is an attempt to rule Ross out. He might be more willing to talk and offer more information if he thinks it isn't an attempt to implicate Ross. And actually it is as much about ruling him out as it is implicating him.

Could be a goldmine of information. Would be cool if an old roommate has late 1960s photos of Ross as well.
