Zodiac was very methodical and had a great memory. When he sent letters, he recounted very specific details of the kill scenes to show he was the killer, including descriptions of the clothes the victims were wearing. If Zodiac pre-positioned a car near the Stine murder as an escape route, I doubt he would have forgotten where he parked it.

How is it known that happened? I've just never seen it mentioned in a police report about where Stine was suppose to stop. Not arguing, just new to this and don't know.

I think Stine recorded the destination Z originally gave him in a log book when the ride started. Perhaps someone can confirm...

There is a lot of good reading on here why he went to the extra block by the way. Not what I said about him forgetting where he parked his car and I was only joking.

OK, thanks, I was wondering if someone had seen them stop at Maple then move ahead to Cherry. But yeah, I'd say there were probably someone at Maple walking by and Zodiac had him continue further.

YW and like I mentioned there is a lot of good post and theories on here why Zodiac had him drive the extra block. One theory I like is that he seen a lot of homes and apartment lights on. To many possible witness and why he had Stine drive further. Check out confirmed Victims on here and then Paul Stine. I think that is where you will find them.
