This thread has certainly fallen off the tracks, hit the bottom of a ravine and blown up.

Don't worry, I have some blockbuster news, just waiting to hear back from Bill Gates.

Let's keep this thread on topic, no bickering back and forth.

I agree.

In 1998 I was told by the Napa County Undersheriff that Sullivan had been ruled out. I believe he said it was via fingerprints. Perhaps Toschi got them compared afterall. Maybe not.

I'm curious as to why so much emphasis is being placed on his handwriting? How many times so far has a document examiner found matches between Zodiac and assorted suspects? Five? Six? It's been rendered meaningless.

Most recently it was the bizarre alleged match to the Albany letter.

Welcome Tom. Happy the hear your info on RS.

I agree, handwriting alone is not going to cut it for most suspects. As for Ross, we want to look at whatever we can. We have no information as to what he was up to during the 69-71ish Zodiac era. We didn't up until the Ham year book findings, have much of any of his handwriting to look at. Many interesting similarities have been found from all sources. Printed writing can all look the same, but Ross has samples of stylized writing. For example, the "n" from the the Red Phantom letters matches Ross's own signature.

There is great evidence that the Riverside writings were the work of Zodiac. So any suspect with a connection as close as Ross should get a good look. Good to know Napa looked at Riverside suspect, however they were probably unaware of both Ross's connection to CJB and his connection (brother Tim and wife) to SF.

It would be a good idea to post it first, peer review is a good thing before getting LE involved. It might even be info that has been discussed before.

*BUT I AGREE with Tahoe, findings end up here to be discussed and should avoid "exclusive rights." Findings build upon past information, and information sharing only helps the case.

A bombshell find would be a piece of Stine's shirt or his wallet and keys.
