That "R" is so close to the "R"iverside on the Bates letters...

If one doesn't think Zodiac (might) have been responsible for Cheri...Ross is in the clear.

This is what I have a problem with, jumping to these types of conclusions without considering all the factors.

Factors like:

-Not every hair on a persons body is one uniform color.
-1959 Ross had much darker hair than a Blonde woman from the same photo.
-This card is from 1959, 1966 is 7 years later. Hair can and does change.

None of this proves anything one way or the other, but jumping to the conclusion that Ross can't possibly be the source of the CJB hair, based on a word written on a card that is open to interpretation, is simply absurd.

On a different note. I have found something that by all accounts should blow this thing wide open. Im gonna try and have everything finished and ready by this weekend. Im going to send it to Morf first. This is bigger than the photos. Bigger than the yearbook handwriting. Bigger than blonde vs red. I would call it a bombshell. Its quite a lot to digest.

I agree. I don't think Ross would/should be in the clear based on a hair strand's color alone. Especially not knowing what he looked like at the time of the crime(s).
