My offer still stands, to Ross's Brother, and Family, if you are reading this, I will pay for DNA testing to see if your DNA line matches the DNA evidence in the Zodiac case. Let's clear Ross's name once and for all

If Tim had been diagnosed with a mental illness, there would've been no need for him to scoot up to Canada to avoid the Vietnam draft.

That depends upon IF and when he was diagnosed. He may have been so paranoid that he moved to Canada regardless of whether or not he could have passed the physical.

Would Riverside PD even look at DNA unless it came from a friend of Bob B.'s?

And of course, SFPD ignored Gaikowski's. Some say it's because Gaik is a lousy suspect, but SFPD didn't take Mr. X seriously, either. In the meantime, no suspects publicly cleared on DNA since 2003...not pinning my hopes on them.

Edit: Lafferty says in his book that Maloney told him the "partial profile" was useless, which would explain everything.

Sounds like Riverside would look at DNA from a local suspect. They are very firm that the CJB's killer was a local person.

SF DNA can only exclude suspects.

Don't forget, there is a real possibility that the DNA from the Bates crime has already been compared to the Zodiac case DNA and did not match, which is why RPD may have done a 180 and said that they are sure Z didn't kill Cheri

Here is a look inside Tim's old apartment. (only $4500 a month!)

It also has a basement.

I have always found Tim interesting, mostly because we know so little about him, and he was one of the main accusers of his brother Ross (along with the librarians).

I know I am beating a dead horse with this question, but when did he die? And where would be helpful. And how do we know? I am guessing it may be hearsay, but I hope to figure it out. It is such a tragic family, from cancer deaths, to heart issues, it appears John was the only one to escape deaths fate at a young age.

Also, are there any pictures of Tim? From any age? And was he a swimmer like Ross? That might help spur someone's memory.

I am trying to locate people in Binghamton who may have known the family (unfortunately, Sullivan was a common name, and Tim and John also popular with it). Ross tends to be a bit too old for anyone I have come across. I met someone at a Christmas party this past week who went to Binghamton Central in the 60s, and didn't even think to ask about Tim as I was first told he graduated in the 50's so I was curious about Ross.

Of interesest, part of the swim team "hazing" I would guess, was being forced to swim nude. I am a little blurry on why, as was he, but will get back in touch with the person I spoke with for more info. And I hope to find people who knew the family, but its not easy, everyone I seem to meet, and family, was about 10+ years younger. It all may lead nowhere, but the more we know about the Sullivans, I hope the more we can figure out.

(And I don't know of any extra history from the Y, infact the first day I visited the history center at the library in Binghamton, a woman who worked at the Y was there researching it because so much was missing in their archives. There was no more in the library, but I could probably add to it with the articles we've found on Harold.)

I have also checked around the relevant dates in the newspaper The Bulletin (the morning paper not available on Fulton) and found little except right before he was officially replaced in Sept, almost nothing went on that summer at the Y that was in the paper. Other than his replacement, the last time I found Harold mentioned was in the August 10, 1957 edition that he would be preaching at the Tabernacle Methodist Church with a sermon on "The Man who Fell Asleep." Perhaps I should put this in the Ross timeline page?
