Bonnie's SF address is less than a mile from the Geary / Mason intersection:

A 1969 SF directory shows the apartments were called "Vicford Apartments", and lists the manager as Mrs. Mae Giering.

Interesting. Would be cool if we could find out somehow that they let Ross live there under her rental agreement, or something along those lines.

On a whim I looked for Bonnie Bartlett in the 1967 San Francisco Polk's Directory. I'm not entirely certain when the directory was compiled but surely it would have been sometime in the last half of 1966. Since I was able to find a listing for her, it was probably before she and Tim married. This gives a different address than the one on the marriage license, as a matter of fact it's on Jackson St about 14 blocks from the Stine crime scene.

The marriage license says that Bonnie was a student though it does not say which school or college she was attending. Everything is relative, while college may not have cost too much in 1966 or 67 it still would have cost enough that someone might think twice about leaving before the semester was finished. Do we know when Bonnie and Tim left for Canada?

Great work Seagull! I never realized Bonnie was living in SF before Canada.

Closest major college to where Bonnie was living is USF.
It's worth noting that USF is home to the Presentation theater. The Mikado played there around the time of the Stine murder. Z mailed 2 letters after it's run ended, but mailed nothing during the run. (Yellow Book pg 156)

Z was seen by the cops walking down Jackson in the direction of Bonnie's old address, but there are some big hills in the way, so not a likely escape route.

Bonnie's address: 2361A Jackson St

Fouke — We turned West on Jackson Street. As we approached Maple Street, I noticed, on the North side of the street, a white male adult, dressed in a Derby, or three-quarter, waist-length jacket with elastic at the waist and on the cuffs, and regular flap-down collars. He had a crew cut, he was wearing rust-colored, pleated trousers, which were unusual for the time. He had on engineering-type boots, low-cut shoe, three-quarters of the way in length, tan in color. The initial radio description of the suspect was that of a black male, 5'10" or something like that. Seeing that it was a white male in an affluent neighborhood, walking along the street, we didn't think it was a suspect. So we proceeded to the next block, which was Jackson and Cherry. Turned southbound on Cherry Street, saw Armond Pelissetti, one of the officers who had responded directly to the scene.

The distance from 2361A Jackson St to the intersection of Jackson and Maple is 1.2 miles: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Jackson ... d37.792299

(Also, 2361 Jackson St is about 1.1 miles from her later 1370 California St. address)

I recall Gerald saying that they moved to Canada in summer of 1967. They were married in October of 1966. She graduated high school (Ramona) in June 1966. That narrows the dates somewhat.

USF was also where Cheri's fiance/boyfriend Dennis Highland was going to school in 1966-67.
