One last thing of interest that I don't think has been posted before is when Harold "left" the Binghamton YMCA, listed in an article dated September 4, 1957. I personally find some of the wording a bit cryptic, "Mr. Sullivan's plans will take him to another part of the country," as though he was fired or encouraged to leave, but did not want it public knowledge where he was moving to, or why.
(Also, Harriet did not go with him at that point, but stayed on in Binghamton-see my recent post in the Harriet Sullivan thread).
