Ross's Boss

Postby morf13 » Tue Jun 16, 2015 8:37 am

Trying to find clues to Ross's Background by checking out his Boss, Harold J. Prue. Maybe we can find out what line of work Prue did or what business he had and find out what,if any things, may line up with Zodiac.

Found a couple things. There are two Harold J. Prue Guys, two different ages, NOT related. Which one was Ross's Boss?

EDIT: Florence Prue may have been a Sister not Wife

I think this was him. He was also a WW2 vet. He died last year I think.

Good idea on trying to locate his former boss. How did you find out who his boss was though? I don't remember seeing that info on the death certificate. I always thought it would be cool to find out where Ross was a dishwasher at and try to find co-workers of his to talk to. Not sure why, but dishwashers/bus boys give me the creeps.

Wasn't there an article that had to do with Ham Radio operators on Mt Diablo?

It's possible Ross's Boss and Ross for that matter would need one of these:

Sorry I'm late on stuff. What kind of business did Prue own that Ross worked at?

I think the second Harold J Prue born in 1921 with the wife Nellie is the right guy IMO. I keep seeing that he died in Hemet which is not very far from Riverside.

I see that Harold had call numbers as morf pointed out - KD6QJV : Harold Prue
San Jacinto, CA. Could he have been in trucking/distribution? I don't know much about call numbers.

If Ross was into Ham radio he might have had a license. If he was still doing Ham Radio, and part of that group at Mt Diablo, he would have had one from that area with his address on it.

How was that Prue call number found?
