Far Better than the two other most talked about recently (Earl Van Best, whatshisface that Tom Voight is pushing who's name escapes me right now).

Most of us would agree, if their is a person of interest connected to that crime scene, we would look into them. Present us with some clean cut, straight edge person connected to RCC that moved to the Bay Area, and he's worth a look. But I agree with Jeff P, Ross is a better suspect than any I know of at this time. When we first started digging, a bay area connection wasn't even known, now it's established. So, the more info we find, the better he looks. Anyone could have killed CJB, but maybe we should start with the on again off again mental patients.

Anything is possible. It's possible Jo Anne Bailey killed Cherri and tried to point the blame at Ross. Problem is, it just doesn't fit in with logic and common sense.

I really hope LE did not drop Ross as a suspect just because "he had an alibi." That would be very irresponsible on their part. But that does tell us that they did at least talk to him. What made them suspicious of Ross in the first place, though?

So those of you who have doubts about Joann Bailey, think about that. The police DID interview Ross about the murder.

I do not have any problem with entertaining a female involved in the cjb crime..it kinda fits in some sense..the leap is cjb killer or killers to the entirety of the z crimes...i havent even totally resolved LB being z....ross has one trump card and that is he can be placed at RCC at the time cheri was alive...be nice if family members were a little more forthcoming with info..oh well..keep digging into associates of ross and cheri..somebody will know..they always do.....

It is a curiosity as to why 11 years pass and the librarians suddenly draft up a letter with concerns for ross..wonder if 1 of there kids was getting some heat from the police or was the probe of investigation to expand and this letter being an attempt at distraction..just curiosity..seems a lil weird to wait 11 years..seems they would have been interviewed within a very short time frame after the homicide....

Ross has a second trump card too where Cheri was his then sister-in-laws best friend.

Someone making up stuff about someone that they don't like who is a Zodiac suspect...yeah, Cheney. So that totally happens...

But as far as I know everything that Bailey has said has been shown to be true, and she never contradicted herself, so I think we should assume her letter was in good faith.

Not to mention, it's alleged that ALA molested his Cheney's Daughter, which would give him a reason to do something along those lines of framing ALA

In some respects, Ross is just like a lot of POIs who were named because they were the strange co-worker/relative. The difference is that he worked at the crime scene and seems to have had reason to be acquainted with the victim.

True. I also think, she was suspecting him of the murder of Cheri. We don't know that she accused him of being Z,or that she knew a whole lot about Z,since it was much bigger news in the SF bay area. Her response was likely due to Peterson contacting her looking for Suspects in Cheri's case

By no means do I wish to sound argumentative, but it seems to me that Sullivan's candidacy (at least, as Bates' killer) is largely based on his scaring a librarian. Hundreds--probably, thousands--of people were in and out of the RCC Library. We know Cheri was a frequent visitor there--her photo on the front page of the school paper certainly suggests this. Further, that photo would have alerted anyone attending RCC who had a grudge against Cheri that the Library might prove a good staging area for an attack on her.
