I'll be updating this thread with further findings at RCC library. I will be visiting on a weekly-biweekly basis to research. Members please don't be shy and let me know if there's anything pertaining to Ross that I can check out when I go to the RCC library. Thanks!

PP: Another line to pursue might be books on the Norwegian language, runes, vikings etc. If Ross is indeed Z, he had to pick that stuff up somewhere. Of course, he could have just read the etymology for the word 'slay' in the dictionary.

maybe any books on VW cars and books with electronics with electric circuitry to do with photo electric light systems because im guessing the photo electric switching was a newish type product back then. anything to do with Gilbert and Sullivan.. and of course cypher code stuff.

Morf/Others:
Don't know if this is the right site to ask this question, but will try, anyway. I've read--and I'm sure you have--that the RCC desktop poem was discovered anywhere from three to six months after Cheri's murder. Can someone pleas nail down, for now and all time, just when the poem was discovered? Incidentally, I believe the poem was written before her death, but that's a separate can of worms.

I'm sticking with December, 1966. I also believe it was written before her death and that the Author did not intend for it to be linked to himself

Nice! Will add it to my little list. Sorry I just had to say it.

p.s. I have some info about the Mikado book at RCC and Pictures (among other info) in the Ross Sullivan thread I believe. If not there then I may have accidentally put it in the Pro's and con's for Ross thread.

Edit: it is on the Pro's and Con's thread (dope! Sorry.) starting around page 21

Note to self: check http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casting_the_Runes
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_of_the_Demon

(The "rune" that would later be the warped "Z" at the end of the CJB letter looked like the symbol from the film.)

I just watched a YouTube video which fingers Sullivan for the Zodiac murders. The similarities in handwriting are uncanny. The video mentions the library women who were quit positive that Ross was the killer of Cheri Bates. Those women knew he was the culprit but fear of the murderer kept them quite. They knew he was a real creep.
