By the way, in this newspaper, the school had a play called, 'A few BUTTONS missing'

Didn't find Ross' name, but found something interesting...

"Army Asks Preps to Join the Reserves..."

Part of story...

"...every boy must fulfill his military obligation. The 63rd Infantry Division gives young men in high school and college a chance to serve out their military term with just six months of active duty."

I didn't find it either. The reason I said it was in there, is because if you Google "Ross Sullivan" "glendale high school", you find this result-
Robinson, and Ross Sullivan. Sours, Schmidt ... Presented to Glendale High School ". Glendale ..... High School for the student body at Glendale High School

The Universal Military Training and Service Act of 1951 made all males obligated to recieve military training for at least 12 months. The minimum amount of service time, per male, was 24 months of total service (I assume there were a variety of programs that one could enter into). I'm guessing the reservist plan in the post above would have been a sweet type of deal.

One was only exempt if they received a college deferment or were married with children. Ross' brother Jon went to college and then grad school and his brother Tim married at 20 and then went to Canada.

What about Ross?

If Ross was really having mental issues, he may have never made it in, or was quickly booted out, or maybe his Riverside college years were to keep from going to Vietnam? I will do both an FBI & MILITARY FOIA request for him

Ross is mentioned as having participated in the talent show. The article runs from the first into the second page, same column. In part it reads:
Others were dancer Connie Son—tag, the Imperials singing “Tear-drops” and "There’s No BusinessLike Show Business,” and a pan-tomime, “Buddy Billy," as portray-ed by Joel Miller, Elza Bergerson, Emilio Delgado, Peter Rusch, John Robinson, and Ross Sullivan

Very good work.

I have two questions.

1) The letter from the library staff is anonymous? Do we know anything about who sent it?

2) The letter states he was in a mental hospital after 1967. If true how could he be Zodiac? I am trying to think what hospital this would be and how to get records.

Howard Davis is the person that obtained that Library staff letter. He knew who it was, it was not truly anonymous. I forget the woman's name,I used to know it. She may be dead by now.

Ross was 'in & out' of mental hospitals supposedly, I dont know how(with privacy laws)anybody will ever get those records.

The woman's name was Jo Ann Bailey.

Take a look at this preliminary report, background check for Ross Sullivan. NAPA is clearly visible. I broke down, paid for the report, and when I got the report, there were no addresses for him. NAPA did not come from out of the blue though. I am contacting customer svc.

If anybody has any background checking svc NOT including BEENVERIFIED.com, please run a report and share what you find RE Ross

Rutherford is also in the Napa Valley. It really is just a wide spot in the road and back then had a half a dozen businesses. It is also where the "back way" to Lake Berryessa is located.

There is another hit for ROSS SULLIVAN in NAPA, here-
https://www.peoplewise.com/search/people

I am reluctant to purchase it because it does not list his age or middle initial,or anything, and am reluctant to drop $24.95(I already got banged out for $19.95 on the other report :? )
