I just did. Sorry. I just got back from work.

But just speculating, what might have caused the father to leave the sons like that? Two of which were minors. That's the weird part I can't get over. Could Ross have had something to do with it and this is what causes him to abandon them? I suppose he still could have been responsible. Or maybe he just has a nervous breakdown or something (given Ross' mental health issues, not outside realm of possibility). Yet, he becomes an "account executive" (might this just be a fancy way of saying "clerk?" The guy was a pastor in three cities in NY and CA. So I assume he did it for 20 or so years? Then, his wife dies and he just gives it up? He abandons his family and becomes a clerk. If you did a google search of where he lived after he lives CA and returns to NYC, it's a small place in the middle of a crime ridden area. There's a riddle here.

*Sherwood Morrill matched the Riverside Bates case letters & desktop poem to Zodiac

*That Desk was in the Library

* Cheri was killed outside of the RCC library

* Ross was a Fixture at that Library

*The Desktop poem was disturbing. Ross, who was into poetry, had written a poem that disturbed the library worker.

*If Sherwod was corrrect in his connection between the Bates desktop writer & Zodiac, then the desktop writer looked like the Zodiac sketch leaving the Stine scene. Ross was a dead ringer for that sketch.

*If Sherwood was right and Zodiac did the Bates writing, then Zodiac was at the RCC library and in Riverside from 66-67, and moved to SF Bay area prior to December,1968. Ross was a fixture at the RCC Library, and lived in the Riverside area 66-67, and moved to SF Bay area prior to December 1968.

Everything lines up perfectly! Nothing is amiss so far, timeline, looks, mental illness, etc, a perfect fit.
I am stoked about Ross Sullivan as a zodiac suspect, and can not wait to get his writing samples. I know it's premature, but I like Ross for Z. Obviously, stuff like shooting, guns, etc, all has to be established, writing needs to be examined, etc, but he is very promising.

unless i missed it which is possible...what exists that proves he was in San Fran area prior to or during 68?...i will concede RS looks very good for suspect considering the timeline (CJB)..weapons, motor vehicles, sewing skills, code writing, preference for foot wear, writing analysis, etc is yet needed

composite sketch/RS looks closer than any other POI that I have ever seen..wonder if K Johns would have picked this guy out of a photo line up..if he was confined in mental hospital it might explain his hatred for nurses (my take)..I wonder if RS had crossed paths with Lass..i dunno-god speed

The Librarians letter stated that he asked for his Records to be sent to a college in Santa Cruz in Fall,1967. Also, his Brother got married in SF in 1966, which may be one reason he moved there, although, I dont know if his Brother stuck around there for long.

Something weird about Ross as related to his High School. It states that he had participated in various activities in Soph & Jr years,but looking thru his soph&jr yearbooks, I found no pictures of him AT ALL in the yearbooks, no listings for him, nothing.

Does anyone know anything about Ross' 1968 or 1969 arrest for public drunkenness? According to Howard Davis on another board, Ross was allegedly arrested and he saw the arrest record. Apparently it happened in Santa Cruz or Berkeley or somewhere in the Bay Area.

In addition we should try to see if there might be a Ross link to the Telegraph Avenue incident that happened in Berkeley in 1968. There were definitely similarities to the Cheri Jo Bates attack with the middle distributor wire being pulled out.
