Interesting observation. I think the FC showing up is probably a coincidence, but who knows?

Your observations in "One Bag Each" and in this thread that both Zodiac and Kaczynski share numerous handwriting and presentation aspects is correct, including that both sometimes link a capital "T" to an "h". See example below, a note Ted wrote in prison and A Zodiac letter. In addition to the "Th" link, look at the similar three stroke "k" 's, checkmark "r" 's, lower case "y" 's, etc.



Also, both Zodiac and Kaczynski sometimes wrote in a "blocky" style, with circles to dot their "I" 's.

Just asked my wife (who is not at all familiar with either the Zodiac or Unabomber case) what she thought about these two samples and here is her answer: "Looks like the same person wrote both texts, but in the second one, the writing is tilted to the right and seems forced, less natural, like it was done under some kind of stress".

Jelberg: Wow! I actually had to look at that a minute to see that it was two different examples. The handwriting is almost dead on.



AK Wilks: Interesting and I think spot on observations by Jelberg and Claypooles (and his wife). Many intriguing similarities if you look at specifics. For example look at the Zodiac checkmark "r" at the end of "cheer" and compare it to the Kaczynski checkmark "r" at the beginning of "received". Compare also the three stroke K's, the high "I", the low crosses on some t's and quite a few others.

The overall effect, as you three noted, is that they're virtually indistinguishable. Also know as well, the unusual spacing in both letters. There is quite a bit of spacing between the words, much more than usual, and that is done both by Zodiac and Kaczynski. See also the very unusual spacing noted by Jelberg in the other topic thread in this section, that both Zodiac and Kaczynski seem to share.

Jelberg - I changed the titles on both of your threads, because I don't know what "1 bag" meant, and gave them titles that might be more inviting and more likely to get other members with only a moderate or even little interest in TK to look at your work. I did this because I think your discoveries and observations in both threads are very interesting and should be seen by as many people as possible.
