Jelberg - Incredible! Very specific potential influences to Zodiac for sure. Unfortunately people who are not interested in Ted as a suspect don't usually come here, so they won't see this. Since most of this is not POI specific, that is to say it generally applies to potential influences on Zodiac, I'd like more people to see this, I definitely think it deserves a wider audience.

So unless you object, I'm going to post this in the Zodiac Theories section, so that more people here, the general zodiac research community, can see it. Consistent with board rules however, I have to take off my TK researcher hat and put on my mod hat.

For the most part, posts in general sections like Zodiac Theories are not POI specific, so consistent with board rules I have to eliminate or minimize some of the POI specific elements in this post. But I will provide a link to the original post here.

Yes, I totally agree! I left in most of the important TJK references in, and where most people wouldn't understand the context, like the Zodiac & Tylenol strike patterns, I edited it but gave a link to your excellent posts here explaining it. I also link to your original post.

But as a Mod, I don't want to be accused of pushing my POI in a general post. And I really wanted a larger audience to see your work. If there is a specifc TJK reference I eliminated or minimized that you think is very important, let me know, and I'll probably put it back in.

I know you guys have already thought of this and the answer is surely no but has Hartnell ever commented on TK's voice or mask hood? I'm also curious if Graysmith who wrote books on both ever publicly championed the idea of TK as Zodiac?

As far as I know, Hartnell has never heard Kaczynski's voice or seen his hood. I wish both could be arranged, but I don't know how to contact him.

As for Graysmith, you have to remember that back then as well as today, he is pretty fixated on Allen as a suspect, pretty much to the exclusion of any serious consideration of other suspects.

Having said that, he did briefly address the issues involving some matches between Kaczynski and Zodiac, in both his second Zodiac book, which is mostly about Allen, as well as his Kaczynski book, called "Unabomber: A Desire To Kill". He made several good observations and called the similarities "fascinating".

Yes this is very interesting especially the one with the death wheel.

Ted K. seems to be at the top as far as named poi's here imo. However, keeping an open mind, cannot eliminate my poi since he had and showed me this exact comic book shortly after we'd met in 1970 one day while sitting on the beach at Corona del Mar. I remember we were talking about fashions and something came up about fishnet stockings and he said something like he'd like to see me in a pair and then said I was reminding him of something and he'd be right back.

He went to his apt. which was right there at the beach and came back with this comic book and then was teasing me about the stockings and went on to talk about the character and the series. I remember teasing him about how he'd look like the man in red were he dressed in the outfit. This was all very lighthearted and very funny actually at the time. We were also talking about many different topics and Las Vegas and gambling had come up so this "death wheel" reminded him of roulette.

We also discussed other comics such as the ones in the newspapers and M.A.D. magazine. Vaguely recall him talking quite a bit about those (which I never cared for) and Alfred E. Neuman which makes me think of the code that begins AEN.

He also had that celebrity cypher and showed me that, asking if I had any clue about it among so many other things I've posted about.
