Ted also used a secret number of 341962. All those numbers appear in the first part of Pi. If you reverse the last two digits it translates numbers for letters to CDAIZ.
This is an excellent example of what to me could be a "leapfrog" type of code if there is such a thing or also a like a number series but using letters starting with the last one, then two letters over that, then one and then two.
