While I won't get into the mix of what can come out of the ciphers via anagrams, etc., I will say I have always thought TK's handwriting was the closest match there is to Zodiac's. To me, that is undeniable, but... to each his own.

I agree that the handwriting is eerily similar. Makes me wonder, what exactly does the FBI say that definitively rules Ted out as Z?

Thanks Tahoe & Doranchak. It is a common misperception that the SFPD & the FBI 1) did extensive investigations of Ted as Zodiac and 2) that he was definitively cleared of being Z. Both are false and I will do a detailed post on this tonight or tomorrow.

This is for Morf, who noted that Zodiac often linked the top of a capital "T" to an adjacent "h", and asked if Ted ever did the same. He often did. The top part is a note Ted wrote in prison, bottom is a Zodiac letter. Also note the matches on the three stroke k, and matches on the a, n, y, o and u, and overall spacing and feel. (Comp by Doug Oswell). I do not know if Ted's tuna complaint was resolved, but overall he eats better in prison than he did in his cabin.

It is not accurate, but I did the best I could.

As always, I made this little game with the letters in "caps Lk" letters" TK.
(I had thought of that when I made the anagram, but only now had time)
I reiterate, the resemblance is giant with ZMF is huge.

Ted comes up at 11:55. He is just mentioned very briefly. The Unabomber typed all his letters so when they first looked at Ted for Zodiac they had little of his handwriting. I don't know how much they had or who did the examining. Repetto says the FBI told him no match.

I've dealt with handwriting experts in court, and one with excellent training and credentials says one thing. And another one with equal training and credentials says the exact opposite.

But the info I have was that someone hired by SFPD did the comparison, when they did not have much of Ted's handwriting or any of his early handwriting. And the conclusion was while they could not make a "match" they did NOT rule out Ted on the basis of handwriting, as they did with Allen and every other suspect. Anyway you can see, based on the work of Marclean, the handwriting of Z and TK is virtually indistinguishable. Three stroke "k", five stroke "m", checkmark "r", spacing, etc.
