It was T and thankyou. Thankyou to everyone for your birthday wishes and a happy birthday as well to morf's daughter. My ex took me to dinner with my cousin and her new husband - they were recently married in NYC and then my Aunt and Uncle went on to Houston Tx to visit my other cousin and his family after the wedding a few months back.
There was of course the obligatory cake moment in the restaurant, I was suitably delighted and embarrassed, more delighted. More presents than I could have asked for and family and good company. I was humbled. My aunt and uncle gifted me £100 as well as footing the bill for the restaurant. I received thoughtful gifts from my ex and her new bf (special edition metal boxed of the 96 Zodiac Killer film), clothes and more. My ex had planned to pay for my meal but was trumped (which was a lovely gift to her for organising the evening).
My Cousin and her husband's gift to me was a ticket to go with him and his family to see Black Sabbath in Belfast in December.
I'm still in shock and admiration of love of family and friends.
