This is completely Zodiac-unrelated, but maybe some one here will get a kick out of this work-in-progress. I was going through some of my old stuff, and found this:

And here is the back:

Yes, Sea Monkeys. And yes, it is a packet from 1972. I've now put it in a clear jar with 12 oz. of water, and will wait the required 24-36 hours before I add packet 2 - "Instant Life."

Will 40 year old packets of Sea Monkeys come to life? I have no idea! But I see the jar half full. I'm an optimist! :ugeek:

Wait ... I've seen this movie. Doesn't it end with MSG as an egg filled nest?

Will follow with interest and fear. :D

Yeah, I'm imagining a conclusion something like this:

Only with more sea monkeys... :?

Wow. I remember that ad from comics I read in the early 70's. (They were printed right next door to the "X-ray specs" glasses and the torch with the angle-poise head, for use when in your tree house.)
I've always wondered what was supposed to happen.
Wasn't there also a photo of a beautiful sea monkey princess? I rather think there was.
I'll be fascinated to hear (and see) what happens matey. Let me know if I can help somehow. Sending extra salt or something. Just ask.

Mike - eating your pop rocks eh? Must be a cultural thing - I'll go Google, quick.

Found it:

Yeah. Not a Princess, but the sea monkey Mom in a crown, I suppose.
I always thought she was more than a little, uh, hot, you know. Must have been the intriguing nudity, and that smile.
And my being 13, of course. Wowsa.

Not quite so randy now I've read this, mind you.
