Would the gun be so rusted that it is of no value to forensics?
And what about the cheese grater?
Surely they will take that to the lab. Z may have made a sandwich, or salad.

It was a tec 9. Produced from 1985 - 2001.

Got no information about any victim of a 9mm..either caliber had not been published yet (in news or by police) or it simply didn't happen..not even one single 9mm or .38 caliber case I know of in that timeframe..surely have been some, from 1980 the list is not complete..
Maybe it belongs to Gian Luigi Ferri..at least he was cool enough to wear ear protectors before shooting himself..
