This is (unintentionally) funny. But as it happens, I just bought a ceramic knife, and this thing is AWESOME. It's so sharp it's ridiculous. If you cook and have to chop stuff, a good ceramic knife will be the best thing you ever own. It makes me happy just to look at it, LOL.

I think the cutting edge of it is made of single atoms.

That is about the only Star Trek movie I like. Loved that scene. Makes you wonder if Star Trek gave someone the idea to do that--although it looks like it was created around or just before the movie??
